Chief of Staff
Position Summary
Random Golf Club is born from a love for community—especially that unique connection that happens on the 1st tee box when paired with a stranger.
We are a scrappy tight knit startup based in Austin that focuses as much on having fun as accomplishing our big goals.
This role is extremely exciting for two reasons - 1, you are working directly with the CEO daily and 2, you are building a new venture in golf. There are no rules and no one has ever done this before - the unknown and the chaos cannot scare you. “Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads!”
If you love golf (or sports in general) and bringing people together, hit us up.
As Chief of Staff, you’ll translate our big ideas into actionable strategies, manage key projects, and communicate across teams to make sure everyone feels that same sense of community we aim to create. If you’re excited to be part of something that builds real connections, we’d love to hear from you.

Drive Strategic Initiatives & Problem-Solve Collaboratively
- Partner with the CEO to shape and execute high-impact strategies, focusing on actionable, immediate results and long-term goals.
- Heavy focus on brand partnerships and marketing.
- Turn challenges into opportunities, moving decisively to streamline and enhance processes.
Communicate to Connect & Inspire
- Act as a bridge for the CEO’s vision, connecting teams and aligning them with clear, impactful communication.
- Actively listen, debate constructively, and unite teams around strategic priorities with enthusiasm.
Lead Projects & Accelerate Execution
- Own and structure key initiatives, maintaining momentum, tracking progress, and presenting actionable solutions. Think “project manager”.
- Streamline decision-making, reducing the CEO’s burden by taking ownership of aligned, strategic choices.
Cultivate a Thriving Culture & Community
- Foster strong, positive relationships across teams, creating a high-energy, collaborative work environment.
- Embrace the company mission with passion and pride, celebrating every achievement as part of the journey.
