Random Golf Club’s primary mission is to build the largest and most inclusive golf club in the world. We are a media company, a consumer brand, creative agency and more. About the Role
Our Marketing team is unlike any other. It is community-led through best-in-class brand content and in person events, allowing organic growth to be monetized through exclusive apparel, partnerships, membership and new streams of business. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, your mission is to optimize the member experience and conversion with all that RGC has to offer our community. Marketing touches and supports every area of our business. Therefore you'll act as a true people-first leader across the full company.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, loves and knows golf, and can instinctively speak in the RGC voice. You're equally motivated by big picture, strategic thinking as you are getting your hands in the weeds and executing. You're well versed in typical growth marketing and conversion funnels, and are ready to apply these principles to a model that is fueled by a passionate community and brand partnerships, not just paid ads and hacking.
What You’ll Do
- Define marketing opportunities.
- Identify and understand the behavior of member segments/cohorts
- Develop & execute strategies to drive member engagement and conversion while building community
- Combine historical marketing metrics and current marketing trends, algorithms, and tools to identify new opportunities for growth
- Set the strategy.
- Develop the 3-6-12 month vision with an operational and optimization driven approach
- Develop Growth Model (email, SMS, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, e-comm, app, membership etc.), aligning with cross-company objectives
- Lead all campaign go to market and communication strategy, including creative strategy, channel prioritization and performance objectives
- Lead.
- Live the RGC values day in and day out
- Operate as a people-first manager
- Gain buy in from internal key stakeholders
Specific Competencies & Qualifications
- 8+ years marketing experience, 3+ years leading a team
- Experience working in DTC organic and digital/social marketing
- Hands-on leader & operator well versed in finding creative ways to make an impact
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment, managing key stakeholders and prioritize appropriately
- Experience in content creation strategy and social media analytics
- Creative mindset with ability to bring GTM campaigns from ideation through execution
- Process driven, detail and action oriented
- A passion for and deep knowledge of golf with an entrepreneurial spirit
